Three IIT Kanpur alumni have developed one of its kind social networking app for India’s vernacular language users.
Named as Share Chat, the app allows users to share videos, jokes, GIFs, audio songs and funny images in Hindi, Telugu, Marathi and Malayalam.
This audience had its different preferences for content consumption which cannot be served by social products used by metro audience,” said Farid.
Farid added, “This audience was widely unaddressed and the market was untouched until we decided to cater to them.” Share Chat currently allows users to follow each other, create and find content in their language of preference and share them on all possible chat platforms.
If you are at an office or shared network, you can ask the network administrator to run a scan across the network looking for misconfigured or infected devices.
